He was a star for Real Madrid. Playing for Argentina he won the Copa America in 1947. He also won the European Cup five times for Madrid, which also includes the Intercontinental Cup of 1960. He hold the record of being the top scorer in the Argentine League and Colombian League. Di Stefano was awarded with the Ballon d’Or in 1957 and 1959. Individual honors also include Spanish Player of the Year Award 4 times in his career.
